Every year Gafcon Ireland hosts a 2 day residential conference for Gafcon supporters, especially clergy, church workers, ordinands, and ministry trainees. About 60 attend and it is always a time of being renewed and refreshed in the Lord’s service. The residential is a great opportunity for fellowship and learning around the Word of God and equipping each other for the task of making disciples. Join us this year as we explore what building ministries that last looks like.

Theme: Perseverance: Building Ministries That Last
Speakers: Archbishop Steve Wood (ACNA) and Dr Andrew Collins (Biblical Counselling UK)
Dates: Sunday 30th November (9pm) to Tuesday 2 December (Post lunch)
Location: CEF Seaview Conference Centre, Kilkeel, BT34 3AU
Registration: See below

Steve Wood is the Archbishop and Primate of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA), Bishop of the Diocese of the Carolinas and the Rector of St. Andrew’s ~ Mount Pleasant, S.C. Archbishop Wood upholds the importance of biblical and theological education and believes that this happens best in the local church. With the aim of presenting every Christian mature in Christ, he founded the School of Theology at St. Andrew’s in 2009, what is now the Ridley Institute, and continues to oversee its ministry. Steve is married to Jacqueline and they have four sons and eight grandchildren.

Andrew Collins has spent many years working as a consultant psychiatrist in Belfast alongside part-time work providing biblical counselling. He is an elder at Killicomaine Evangelical Church in Portadown. He tutors on the BCUK (Biblical Counselling UK) Certificate Programme in Belfast. Andrew’s role with BCUK seeks to serve experienced carers with training and resources to grow their wisdom and skill in counselling ministry.
